This fantastic rebuild sailed the same trip a few years back after being built by enthusiasts and in a non profit organzation. The construction started in 1992 and the ship was completed in 2005. All respect to them for bringing back a really exiting piece of history!

Old stuff really rules
This is what met med looking out of my office window this morning. It's a rebuild of the ship Gotheborg that sailed to east asia in the 1700's. On its third voyage in 1745, after sailing roughly 1.5 times around the world and filled with precious goods from China and the orient, it hit one of the most known rocks right out side the Gothenburg port. Luckily though all seamen were saved and about a third of the goods could be rescued. As a trivia I might add that the trip resulted in a 17.5 % profit due to rescued goods as well as insurance claims. The first and second trip however carried a 40% plus profit margin...

A midsummer dream!
Well, in Sweden we like and need the bright summer days. And we celebrate midsummer and a ride in a 58 Int. Harvester A100 pick up realy makes the day. I was reasonably midsummer day drunk so my darlin' wife Susanne drove the brum-brum back home with 6 kids in the sofa in the cab and the rest in the bed... What a midsummer day ride! I'm still smilin'...
same same but different...
first pic is thursday second is today, friday. Same guy different bike. He's loco though. It's 48 kilometers from Freddans to my house and thus 48 freakin k's back home . And considering that the freakin dude did 40 kilometers on rollin skis the night before... fudge it, he's of his rocker...
But he's my best friend and we've been fudgeing with bikes and rides for umphteen years and we've had fun with cone shovels, genny shovles, flatheads , panheads, knuckleheads and freakin ironheads and what have ya'. And now he's makin me check out De Rosa and other carbon shit...

IH A100 on swedish soil
and on a Hisingen curb about 2 km's from the port... But rest assured, the story evolved well. A fresh battery, some additional fluids and the straight 6 purred like a kitten. There is some work to do, but it was the best ride in along time, once I got of the curb in Hisingen. Which was thanks to my best friend and bro - Freddan, aka Cannonball Fred.

Could be neat
VL frame and front end, a U and with 21" front and rear. Hmmm. Maybe to predictable or maybe not. The green tank is just to accentuate the fact according to Sebastian that green bikes are a big no no! However this this green little beauty might just be a bonafide Hap Jones from back in the day. This is what Erik told me and he has more cult chopper shit than anyone so what he says goes
Ol' yeller
Might get on the road next season. It's been on it's way for a while now and the idea of it just seems to get better every year. 45 flattie with a Norton gearbox, girder front end and a fire extinguisher oil bag. And a tank that almost got cut up to a Cuts for Freddans knuckle, hence the marker marks on it. It's going to be a nice and slow chop for a sunday stroll... If it ever gets done...

The words been out...
...about Pontus new boardtracker. And when the mad fabricator from the islands sets his mind to something you kow it's going to be awesome!
Still this exceeded all expectations. I ran into these photos on a FB page related to the blog MC Razzia (mail me if I cant use your pics and I'll take them away) The bike is just so perfect in all details. It will have all the poser Harley know-it-alls wondering from here to christmas - what the hell is it? And the simple truth is that it's just a perfect machine created by a mastermind with real sense of detail and humor.

Another ten minute ride
from the shop to home, but this time on Freddans knucklehead. The stance and ride kinda makes a twistin' reaction in your right hand. And as a family man it let's me taste the feeling of being a bad mofo just for a little while. Thats before I get scared and realize i'm on the 158:an and I have to make dinner and empty the dish washer and mow the lawn...
Handsome and at your service
Makes me want to go riding for a long while. A bike just like this turned me on Harleys in 72 when this guy came roarin' in to the peacful neighborhood to look at my parents Ford Mustang Mach 1 that they brought home from the US. He was a skinny guy with no helmet smokin a pipe and had lågskor and gabardin byxor... (ask a swedish friend or get ta f-n dictionary). Darn rad!
A little bit of action...
...is all I've been able to manage as obvious by the intensity - or lack thereof - in this so called blog. But I'm a Dad and partner in a bidniz so you cope and adjust...
But the chop's been on the road - back an forth from the shop to home. A 10 min. ride. But brother - what a ride. It's a deathtrap but fun as anything. And next week it's the Jokers meet. See you there!
Freudos knuckle in the immediate background will be there and we're going to trick Dennis to give the swede-style shovel chop some road spankin' to the peoples park in Tidaholm also...
Peace and love!
